We are looking for a Geologist to start as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities:

• Coordination and supervision of soil investigations and field tests
• Deposit geology
• Hydrogeology including exploration and assessment
• Foundation and stability investigations
• Construction supervision in deep, structural, and underground engineering as well as abandoned mining sites
• Geotechnical field tests and excavation acceptance
• Quality monitoring in landfill construction
• Investigations and assessments of contaminated sites
• Preparation of approval documents according to mining law, federal pollution control law, water law, etc.
• Conducting mining law planning approval procedures
• Execution of project tasks in the field and office
• Operational and extraction planning for quarrying operations
• Effective communication of project details to clients and project stakeholders

Your Profile – Technical Skills and Soft Skills:

• Completed degree (MSc, Diploma) in Geology or Earth Sciences
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Desirable knowledge of QGIS and/or AutoCAD
• Curiosity and creativity in developing constructive solutions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German
